We reinvest in Scotland - through our people, our projects, and our partnerships.

Integrated Procedures and Governance

To underpin this collaboration, the consortium has aligned its internal procedures to ensure efficient operation across the five member organisations.

This has included:

  • Establishing a shared quality and governance framework, combining each member’s ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and Fair Work policies into a unified set of standards for the framework.

  • Developing common document control, risk management and reporting templates to support consistent service delivery

  • Creating a joint Framework Social Value Delivery Plan and Framework Charter that will guide local supply chain engagement, SME participation and community benefit delivery

  • Agreeing a decision-making protocol for project allocation, resource deployment and client engagement, ensuring the optimum expertise is made available to framework clients – from across the consortium and our supply chain partners

Our Shared Principles

  • Consortium members have committed to a joint operating model that prioritises the best team for each project, drawing on complementary strengths rather than organisational constraints.

  • The formation of Building Futures Scotland Ltd provides a formal framework for reinvesting efficiencies and learning across all partners, creating mutual benefit for consortium members and our well established supply chain.

  • Every decision made by the consortium is tested against its ability to deliver social value, skills development, fair work and sustainable outcomes for Scottish communities.

  • Structured governance, integrated procedures and clear accountability ensure consistency and the best outcomes for clients.
